Rockin’ celebrity makeup artist, Christine Cho, chats with the Langton PR girls.

Christine Cho, celebrity make-up artist and entrepreneur, has the career most girls dream of. She is the reason why people look fabulous up close and in front of the camera.  She regularly works with National TV shows (Cityline and Steven & Chris) and her Instagram feed is full of flawless photos posing with celebs.

We had the chance to speak with Christine and asked her a few questions about herself and her personal favourites in beauty.

Question 2: What is your favourite beauty trend for the fall?

Full straight brows with flawless matte skin.

Question 3: What is your night-time routine for flawless skin?

  • Step 1: Obsessively remove all traces of makeup (especially eye makeup)
  • Step 2: Natural rosewater as toner

Question 5: Where do you find your beauty/makeup inspirations?

Everywhere! Nature, fashion, paintings, music, food, animals, films, books/stories, mythical characters, and my imagination.

Question 6: What is your favourite hair trend for the fall?

Buns, braids and ponytails. Easy to do hairstyles that take very little time, functionally stay out of the way, but can look runway worthy.

Question 7: What’s your favourite fall pastime?

Cooking comfort foods.

Question 8: What is your favourite type of makeup service? Weddings? Film? Editorial? TV?

Red carpet events and weddings. There’s something inexplicably satisfying about making women look and feel beautiful on special occasions. I love incorporating current trends into my clients’ customized visions of beauty.

Question 9: What’s your favourite feature to accentuate?

Flawless looking skin and natural bone structure and features, especially well sculpted cheeks and brows.

Question 10: Best piece of makeup advice?

While being aware of trends, always wear your makeup to flatter your own look!

Question 12: If you weren’t a makeup artist what would you be doing?

If I weren’t a makeup artist, I would probably be a talk show host or writer – both things I still plan on incorporating in my beauty career in the future!
